Blind Followers (and Their Protesters)

It seems like nowadays that everyone is speaking their opinion in public whether it is online or in a public place. There is nothing wrong with having your own opinion. The only thing that I noticed is that the random person who has an opinion has people who follow them and believe EVERYTHING they say and follow them to the core. Then they also have protesters and people who are against EVERYTHING they say.

It is either one extreme or another.

I normally don't bother with any of it, but one of their followers would tell me I should listen and be amaze as they are.

I normally advise against agreeing with it. A lot of times you will be disappointed. Why? A lot of times, when you actually hear their person they have gotten their "wisdom", this is how it sounds:

99% of the time it is either very remedial or something made up in a story book. And when they ask for my opinion about their "great leader":

Let's just say, it is not always advised.....

And the "leader", let's just say one or two ways they could react to it...

What about the protesters? Surely they may understand what you are talking about right? Wrong. That will be obvious the moment they open their mouth.

See, if you don't disagree or hate them, you are on his side for some reason that is unknown. You either have to absolutely agree and love them or absolutely disagree and hate them. There is no in between. There is no proof of any logical thought process.

But you have to realize, the reality, it is all for attention.

It doesn't hurt to disagree and agree with anyone. Please have your own personal opinions. Don't piggyback on what someone else say. Don't follow the yay nor the nay crowd. Just be you. If you can't agree, just learn how to agree to disagree and appreciate the debate and look for more insight if anything.

But the ultimate moral is that you do NOT need a leader to tell you how your opinion should be. YOU are your own leader. Regardless on what anyone believes or says, at the end of the day, YOU are the ultimate decision maker of your destiny. So make sure you hold on to your beliefs and be your own leader. The leader of YOU because that is the most important thing in life.

I'm NOT Made of Money!

My son tends to have a habit of losing things. Not anything small like a pencil or something similar. It is usually something that is needed and I recently bought him as well. It doesn't matter if I bought him extra, it is always the same results.

It will always start off like this:

Of course a few days go and him attempting to hide it before I find out the hard truth....

And normally afterwards, I hear a very off the wall story what happened to the coats... normally adding an additional issue to his dilemma.

Of course which means he lost something else and thinking I would believe the story. This just means additional money needing to be spent at the store.

Which he will be happy, but it doesn't solve the issue.

Of course kids tend to loose things time from time. But if your kids loses stuff ALL the time, it will be time to teach them some responsibility.

Working Tech Support As A Girl

Sorry, I have been away. I have been busy doing random and crazy things. But I am back now to give you one of the things that irritates me the most working in technical support. As a female, you get "different" types of calls. Normally, you get a call and say the problem and work it through, but as a girl, it is a whole different story. This is how it starts off.....

Normally, you would hope they are just a frustrated customer who wants help ASAP, but as they keep talking, they try say in so many words, WITHOUT saying it, they want to speak a man and not a girl.

And little do they know, I am 2nd tier so I would be the person they talk to if their issue was escalated from Tier 1.

Once they realize the inevitable, they figure to take matters in their own hands.

Of course by then it is beyond broken. Which takes a lot of additional time to not ONLY undo what they just did, but also to fix the original issue.

And after spending  a large amount of time fixing their issue that could of take five minutes to fix, they seem to completely forget that they caused the issue to take longer and rather blame the issue on "another" reason....

Grant it, I love my job, but there are days where I do want to pull my hair out of my head.
